Ok. We're as sick as you probably are of hearing about Sunday's pillow fight in Ballard. But a few comments on our post yesterday about it and an e-mail from Brooke, the organizer, prompted us to put up one last item about it. Namely, we'd like to ask those who think the pillow fight organizer is "self-absorbed" and worse to please calm down.......

The local blogosphere has been talking today about the fall-out (literally and figuratively) from last Sunday's flash-mob pillow fight in Ballard. Apparently, the Parks Department was none too pleased about the mass of feathers left lying on the ground in Bergen Place (the small triangular park across Market St. from the Majestic Bay Theater). According to MyBallard.com, the Parks Department claimed they had to spend six hours cleaning up the feathers. They were so annoyed......

We remember having pillow fights as a kid and always loved them. We'd smack our friends upside the head for a few seconds and then, invariably, we'd fall over shrieking with laughter. So when My Ballard tipped off us off to a flash mob pillow fight planned for today, we knew we'd have to go. Turns out a planned, massive fight is a lot different from those of our youth.
