Listen up, Seattle, stop feeding the gulls! Those pesky, french fry-begging sea gulls at the Colman Dock ferry terminal need to stop their squawking, pack up, and take their droppings elsewhere, or their deaths are on your hands.

Turns out the King County Health Department might want to see those dead crows, because of West Nile Virus concerns. So report those dead birds, citizens! There's an online dead bird reporting form right there for your use.
We're reluctant to spend this absolutely glorious sunny Monday morning writing about this weekend's horrific murders down in Graham, Washington. What Seattlest would rather do is watch web cams of Northwest wildlife, and we bet that's what you'd rather think about, too. The Hancock Wildlife Foundation has two live streaming web cams of bald eagle nests in British Columbia, and a handful of other recorded segments from years past of such wonders as the Chehalis salmon run. When will Dreamworks make a movie about talking, singing bald eagles and Chinook salmon? We'd buy that DVD/BluRay combo pack. Mornings and webcams like these remind us that we have the privilege of making our home in one of the world's most bountiful, beautiful areas. Sunshine, please stay!
So I says to her, I says "Oh yeah, well you weren't complaining when I was looking at you." And you know what she did? You know what she did? She just flew off. Just like that. Flew away with some dark-eyed junco. I tell ya, man, those chestnut-backed chickadees are nothing but trouble. All talk and no action, I tell ya. Stick to the eagle chicks. That's where it's at. (There's more bird gossip and other absurdities in our Flickr pool.)
The great thing about the Seattlest Flickr pool is that our citizen photographers are everywhere all the time. It's the only way they can capture things like this seagull performing "I Will Always Love You" (the Whitney version, natch) on the Seattle waterfront for, we assume, a small family of tourists. If you should happen upon such an unbelievable moment about town, take a picture and drop it in our pool.
