Granted, Sean Nelson is a great guy with great hair, but he left the Long Winters right after "When I Pretend to Fall" was released. Unless you're saying you know he's back with the group? That would be great!
Perhaps he's the "Special Guest"?
Thought I would add Tina Dico @ Chop Suey on Tuesday the 25th! Last visit was outstanding! An amazing voice that is much, much more than the work she did with Zero 7! A cutie too!!!!
Hey K, thanks for the tip.
We'll be sure to mention the show in next Tuesday's "Aural Pleasures."
thievery corporation: *yawn*. anyone thinking of forking out the loot for that show would be better served buying their dj kicks cd (on studio k7, easy to find). well, that or being really really high so you don't realize how unexciting the show is.
there's also dabrye at chop suey wednesday, 7/19. it's hip-hop for robots. for robots man!
Actually, the special guest is Tim Seely. At least that’s what it says on the Long Winter’s tour page. But more often then not, Sean can be found in the crowd at Seattle-based LW shows, and he’s been conned to join John up on stage on more than one occassion. But if you see Sean in the crowd, snuggle up next to him, because you’ll hear him humming harmonies to himself while the band plays on stage, which is the next best thing to him actually being in the band.
