Overheard in Seattle Offices

Monday, loafiing around at home, we noticed a Seattle submission on Overheard in the Office:
He Prefers to Be Called RichardHa ha! Dick's jokes never get old! Leastways, not in New York.
Guy: I am full.
Girl: Full of what?
Guy: Full of Dick's.
539 Queen Anne Avenue North
Regardless, we realized that we just don't see Seattle crop up often enough on Overheard in the Office. We searched the site for Seattle to see what came up. It had been a month since Seattle showed up. We had a good run the week of May 7-13, including this gem:
2PM Project Meeting
Manager: How are we supposed to get any work done if all of our developers keep getting sucked off?
4740 44th Avenue SW
(Side note: Why did OitO recently switch from short, punchy, daytimer-themed post headlines to long, reaching, not-as-clever-as-they'd-like headlines? Our least favorite element of Overheard in New York has spread!)
Of all the Seattle entries on the site, our favorite comes from May 11 this year:
5PM That's a WrapThat address? Should be Columbian Way South, but a quick Googling shows it's the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System.
Chief accountant on phone: No, this is not a business. This is the U.S. government.
1660 S Columbian Avenue
That's good, but we think we -- as a city -- can do better. (Slog's occasional self-congratulatory guess-what-someone-said-in-our-office posts don't count. Basically because they're sometimes amusing, but not better.) Keep your ears open, people, and submit something funny or just bizarre and out of context to Overheard in the Office. We want a small aural peep into your workplace.
(The photo? It's one of The Cubes, one of many cubicle playsets made by Accoutrements, Archie McPhee's parent corporation.)

This gets updated quite frequently....
