Going Once... Going Twice...

auction.jpgIn the market for a Smoketeer air filter system? Or Vacu-Jig bowling ball drill? Maybe a two-basket deep fryer?

Leilani Lanes finally closed last month after 44 years in the bowling business, and tomorrow they’re auctioning off damn near everything. Sad, yes, but also enticing.

The official auction site lists a whole heap of stuff up for grabs, including furniture, fixtures and assorted equipment from the lounge, coffee shop and pro shop, as well as the actual bowling lanes, gutters, ball returns and scoring systems. Fans of Leilani’s tiki kitsch will want to bid on their advertised wood carvings and other “decor items.”

Of course, there’ll also be loads of house balls and bowling pins on the block, which may be of interest to artists and mattress companies as well as bowling enthusiasts.

Items will be available for viewing Tuesday morning at 8; bidding starts at 10.
